Baldwin Filters was started by J.A Baldwin over 80 years ago in 1936. This was when J.A Baldwin designed and started to produce superior lube filters to any on the market at the time. With steady growth and a desire to provide top quality air, oil, and fuel filtration to his customers, Baldwin moved the company from Wisconsin to Nebraska. This marked the beginning of a growth and expansion for the Baldwin Filter company that would last from 1963 - 1981. This is when Baldwin Filters joined J.L. Clark Manufacturing Company to become Clarcor. From there, the group would go on to become a world leader in filter manufacturing, eventually joining the Parker Hannifin Corporation Filtration Group in February of 2017.
